Membership

Information

Membership of the club allows use of our outdoor range at Manor Park every day, all year round, and the use of the Manor Park Club’s facilities which include a bar, toilets and changing rooms.  (It does not include use of Manor Park’s other playing facilities, such as tennis or squash.)  The Manor Park subs are now included in the membership fee, and the club pays on the appropriate amount to Manor Park.

Established archers may join immediately, but others should take a beginners’ course first.  We usually run two or more  beginners’ courses each year, in April, September and others when there is sufficient demand.  Contact the Beginners’ course organizer if you want to join a course.

Full membership is divided into three categories: Seniors 25 or over, Seniors 18-24, and Juniors under 18.

Membership automatically includes membership of Archery GB, the West Midlands Archery Society, and the County of Worcester Archery Association.  Archery GB is the sport’s national governing body, and also provides insurance cover.

New members get a “Welcome Pack” which is full of useful information. Existing members can request a copy of this from the Membership Sec.

*  Seniors 25+ rejoining AGB after a significant break in membership will have to pay £149.00, the same as new members. If you are in doubt contact the membership secretary.
