Coaching

The club has several Archery GB recognised coaches, along with many experienced archers that can help share knowledge and advise you on the correct technique.

A lot of our archers regularly compete in local, national, and sometimes international level competitions. There is a wealth of knowledge in the club across all bow styles.

Once you are a member, speak to one of our coaches or our Coaching Officer to arrange a coaching session to improve your technique and alignment.

We can also run sessions during the winter to talk about bow setup, training, goal setting and handing tournaments pressures.

If you become very keen and want to take your shooting to higher levels or aspire to be an Olympian, we can guide you to experienced archers/coaches for one to one sessions (fees may apply). Some regions also run ArcheryGB Training Centre groups throughout the winter months.
