A friendly archery club for recurve, barebow, longbow and compound archers
Malvern Archers is a target archery club founded in 1905, moving to the fabulous Manor Park multi-sports club when it was inaugurated in 1907. We have our own dedicated archery ground, that allows us to shoot every day of the year, with distances of up to 100 yards. Malvern Archers have been shooting in the shadow of the beautiful Malvern Hills for more than a century! We are a friendly archery club enjoying all the social, physical and competitively challenging aspects of our sport. Many of our members enjoy archery as a relaxing and fun way to unwind from the everyday stress of the modern world. If you are more interested in archery of a competitive nature, we offer the opportunity to be involved in local and national tournaments. Many members of the club, both senior and junior, participate at county, national and even at international levels.

As well as access to the ground, club members are also members of Manor Park, and can enjoy the facilities of the club house – including a bar, lounge, meeting room & kitchen. Malvern Archers is affiliated to the County of Worcestershire Archery Association, the West Midlands Archery Society, and the Grand National Archery Society (Archery GB).
If you fancy having a go at archery please contact us for dates of our next beginners course. Distances range from 10 – 100 yards! It all sounds easy…
Outdoor Facilities
Our outdoor shooting field at the Manor Park Club allows for ranges up to 100yds, and is available throughout the year. The club uses all foam bosses outdoors, and they are permanently available to members. All Imperial and metric distances are marked, and the ground can be used at any time (unless the groundsman is working), subject to the usual safety rules being adhered to.

From April to September the Club has regular practice sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, when most active members come to practice or shoot rounds. There is also a regular coaching session on Wednesday evenings. There is also a Sunday morning practice session, which extends into October. The general times are to the right of this page – BUT please check the calendar for up-to-the-minute details.
The general facilities of the Manor Park Club, including the bar, are available to all members, who are de-facto members of the Manor Park Sports Club. There is also a meeting room and kitchen which we can use for Club general meetings and to provide refreshments for visiting teams.
Indoor facilities
During the winter (October to March inclusive), we use the sports facilities at Malvern St James School, the famous “Edinburgh Dome”. We normally shoot at 18m – but, at a push, we can squeeze in 25 m. All targets are backed by a safety net to prevent damage to arrows missing the targets.
